Die nachfolgenden Ausführungen basieren auf einer Auswertung von offiziellen Dokumenten der amerikanischen Delegation auf der Potsdamer Konferenz 1945. Konkret ausgewertet wurden hier das in zwei verschiedenen Fassungen verwendete Telefonverzeichnis sowie der für das Gebiet der Delegation angefertigte Übersichtsplan. Alle Angaben beziehen sich auf die von der US-Delegation verwendeten Straßennamen und Hausnummern. Es wurde versucht, die damals verwendeten Hausnummern mit den heute gültigen abzugleichen. Dabei halfen die umfangreichen Recherchen des vormaligen Gebietsdenkmalpflegers von Neubabelsberg, Jörg Limberg.
Insgesamt befanden sich, laut dem Übersichtsplan, im Bereich der USamerikanischen Delegation 120 Objekte. Die Mehrzahl von ihnen konnte mithilfe des Telefonverzeichnisses und des Übersichtsplans verifiziert werden.
Hinzugezählt werden müssten noch die von den der Delegation zugeordneten Truppenteilen genutzten Objekte in außerhalb des Delegationsbereiches liegenden Gebieten. Eine Übersicht über diese Objekte konnte bislang nicht gefunden werden.
